Self Storage & Rental Property Manager
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Self Storage & Rental Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility while also assisting with the management of residential rental properties.
This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and may require occasional weekend repair or emergency maintenance calls. The role also requires occasional travel to properties for showings, final walk-throughs, inspections, and condition checks.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and welcoming properties, and is comfortable balancing customer service, operations, and property management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Self Storage Operations
- Assist customers with renting storage units, processing payments, and answering inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized office and facility (inside and out)
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure overall property upkeep
- Manage delinquent accounts and follow up with non-paying tenants
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and tenant information
- Support marketing and advertising efforts to increase rentals and visibility
Rental Property Management
- Oversee residential rental properties and maintain positive tenant relationships
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance requests, and vendor scheduling
- Assist with lease agreements, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
- Conduct tenant screenings, background checks, and rental verifications
- Obtain and coordinate annual bids for landscaping, maintenance, and contracted services
- Monitor property conditions and assist with preventative maintenance planning
- Travel to properties as needed for showings, inspections, move-out walkthroughs, and general condition checks
- Ensure properties remain compliant, well-maintained, and tenant-ready
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer, administrative, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple properties and priorities
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and solving problems proactively
- Ability to handle occasional weekend repair or maintenance calls
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Prior experience in property management, self-storage, leasing, or customer service is preferred but not required

Base Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
