Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas
- Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing supplies for efficient workflow
- Load and unload construction materials safely and accurately
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and power tools
- Support with site cleanup and organization to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality as essential qualities
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative efforts
