Overview:
Responsible for an assigned bank of currency and coin, services and interacts with Casino guests by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Makes change, redeems coupons, and cashes checks, vouchers and casino chips.

Follows current guests, credit card, tribal and team member check policies.

Updates guest accounts in casino computer system, and processes credit, safekeeping and front money transactions for casino guests.

Ensures security of assigned funds by verifying that all payouts are performed accurately.

Requests additional cash as needed and verifies all incoming cash.

Performs verification of funds for other Cashiers when requested.

Assures that all items of value are secured and locked in drawer prior to leaving area.

Calls for assistance when any transaction is suspicious.

Responsible for reviewing postings daily for any procedural changes.

Responsible for reviewing posted schedules daily to ensure proper attendance.

Responsible for working assigned schedule, including overtime.

Performs as the banker for Slot transactions including Jackpots.

Responsible for tracking all reportable transactions on the Cage MTLs and NILs in accordance with Title 31 requirements.

Responsible for attending all mandatory training classes and department meetings

Provides exceptional guest service to all external and internal casino guests.

Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 10-key skills with at least 6 months of prior cashiering experience. Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour
Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment
