We are looking for hosts/hostesses to work as part of our team in the dining room. Duties include greeting customers, answering the phone, seating guests, taking to go orders, etc. This is an entry level position. We offer training and part-time hours. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be prompt, and willing to learn and grow with the company. We are a family owned business that has been serving Port Clinton, OH for over 40 years. We have recently opened our second location in Port Clinton, OH. Our staff is very important to our success as we are constantly learning about our guests' needs and making improvements as we grow! Responsibilities:
- Greet customers upon their arrival and guide them through their meal experience.
- Qualifications: Ability to speak, read & write English fluently is required. Food safety certification preferred but not required. Possess basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to handle money by cash deposit or credit cards is required. Ability to work well with others in a team environment while also working well on your own with regard to completing tasks. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment during busy times such as weekends or holidays is also important.
