Little Legends SC is looking for an energetic, reliable, and passionate Youth Soccer Coach to join our coaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys teaching the game of soccer, and wants to make a lasting impact on young athletes in our community.
Our coaches lead engaging, age-appropriate training sessions throughout the week and on weekends while helping create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where players can develop both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead weekly soccer training sessions for players of various age groups and skill levels.
- Maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to coach weekday evenings and weekend classes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic learning environment.
- Teach fundamental soccer skills while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, confidence, and a love for the game.
- Assist with field setup and breakdown before and after sessions.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Coach and coaching staff to ensure consistent programming and player development.
- Communicate professionally with parents, players, and fellow coaches.
- Prioritize player safety and maintain a fun, organized training environment.
Qualifications
- Previous playing experience beyond high school (college, semi-professional, professional, or equivalent competitive level preferred).
- Experience coaching or working with children is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable coaching children of all ages and skill levels.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to be a team player.
- Passionate about helping children grow both as athletes and individuals.
- Genuine enthusiasm for growing the sport of soccer within the local community.
