Job Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction both one-on-one and in small groups, based on your area(s) of expertise.
- Assess and evaluate student's learning progress and engagement, adapting instruction as needed.
- Provide reports for all tutoring sessions in a timely manner.
- Communicate promptly with students, parents, director and office staff.
Requirements
- Exceptional math competency through at least Precalculus. Ability to teach Calculus, Statistics or ACT Math is a plus!
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing
- A teaching license is not required, but position does require a bachelor or associate degree from an accredited university or college.
- Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
- Flexible availability to accommodate students. Able to work SOME of the following hours during the school year: Monday through Thursday 12-9pm and Sunday 1-6pm. During the summer, Monday - Thursday 9am - 7pm.
