Duties
Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring all areas are safe and organized for daily operations. Support skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas as needed. Help with site safety by following all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Perform general labor tasks such as digging, trenching, mixing concrete, and loading/unloading materials. Operate basic construction tools under supervision and report any equipment issues promptly. Assist in setting up scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures to facilitate ongoing work. Participate in routine inspections to ensure work areas meet safety standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and stand for extended periods. Strong willingness to learn new skills on-site and follow detailed instructions from supervisors. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic. Basic understanding of construction safety practices; prior experience is a plus but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Reliable transportation to job sites; punctuality is essential for team success. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with hand tools, basic carpentry or masonry experience, or OSHA safety certification.
