Completes work assigned by the supervisor to gain experience in all maintenance areas and will complete factory maintenance training. Requires the ability to perform maintenance and will be responsible for lubricating and inspecting cars thoroughly in a quick manner while carrying out responsibilities through coordination with service advisor.
Essential Duties are not limited to:
- Receive repair orders from service advisor.
- Use adequate but not excessive quantities of materials and shop supplies
- Performs multipoint inspections, oil changes, lubrication, and basic maintenance as directed.
- Notes any needed repairs or maintenance that were found during inspection, obtains part and labor pricing and communicates this information with the service advisor.
- Participates in shop duties assigned by supervisor or management.
- Participates in reaching and maintaining the highest customer satisfaction goals for the shop.
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
- Operates all tools, hoists and equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensures security of customer information.
- Other duties as assigned by management, shop foreman and or supervisor.
