This position is located in the Veterans Services Division of the Oakland District Office and is responsible for assisting and representing veterans, their dependents and survivors, by filing claims and decision review requests, evaluating and developing case files, and following up on pending claims for benefits administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA). The ANALYST II also prepares for and represents claimants and appellants at hearings before the local USDVA and the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA).
