We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition and functionality of the hotel, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and team members.
Schedule Requirement:
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest service issues
- Conduct daily property inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
- Assist with basic repairs, painting, and upkeep of hotel facilities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and brand requirements
- Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or engineering experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
