Job Summary:
As a key member of the onsite team, you’ll take full ownership of leasing operations, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement for one of our multifamily communities. You’ll report to the Community Manager and collaborate with the on-site team to exceed occupancy goals and drive NOI performance. Your role will be to generate demand, convert leads, and foster long-term resident satisfaction through high-touch service and creative marketing strategies.
Option to recieve Commisions.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Take Ownership of Leasing Performance
Drive all leasing activities from initial contact to signed lease.
Consistently meet or exceed leasing goals and KPIs (closing ratio, call conversion, cancellation ratio).
Ensure daily readiness of office, model unit(s), and tour path prior to office hours.
Prepare and present complete leasing packages and ensure timely follow-up with prospective residents.
Guide applicants through the leasing process with professionalism, transparency, and accuracy.
Maintain accurate guest card and application records using property management software.
2. Marketing & Lead Generation
Collaborate with the Community Manager on marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and lead flow.
Generate creative content for social media, flyers, and collateral consistent with community brand.
Monitor and maintain accurate pricing and availability across online platforms.
Conduct and evaluate market surveys to track local trends and propose competitive strategies.
Contribute ideas for resident engagement, outreach marketing, and digital campaigns.
3. Customer Experience & Resident Retention
Deliver a warm, professional experience to all prospects, applicants, and residents.
Partner with maintenance and operations teams to ensure fast and high-quality service delivery.
Assist in managing resident concerns and collaborate with the team on resolutions.
Support resident events, write newsletter content, and maintain communication via digital platforms.
Create a seamless move-in experience that sets the tone for long-term satisfaction.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
Monitor leasing office, units, and amenities for safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
Handle and safeguard sensitive resident data in line with company policies and recordkeeping protocols.
Support emergency response procedures and help coordinate in legally sensitive situations.
Adhere to all Fair Housing, ADA, and other legal compliance requirements.
5. Team Collaboration & Self Leadership
Proactively communicate with your Community Manager and teammates to ensure shared success.
Take ownership of your growth—schedule one-on-ones, seek feedback, and track progress toward goals.
Participate in staff meetings and bring forward suggestions to improve the leasing and customer experience.
Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
Must Haves:
Passion for customer service and creating great first impressions
Strong communication and sales skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Tech-savvy and comfortable using leasing systems and marketing tools
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice to Haves:
Experience in residential leasing, marketing, or hospitality
Familiarity with Appfolio, or other property management software
Understanding of Fair Housing and ADA laws
College degree preferred
