Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Expeditor to join our team at Redhawk Grille. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued while managing seating arrangements efficiently along with running food and providing secondary service. Your contributions will directly enhance our guests' dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus.
- Manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu and restaurant services.
- Make plates "service ready" and run food to guests.
- Provide secondary service such as refills, sauce requests, and follow up.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Handle reservations and special requests with professionalism.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
