Position Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Hoist Technician to join our Renew team. This position plays a key role in our vehicle refurbishment process — handling everything from mechanical repairs and diagnostics to light welding and electrical troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities
· Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections and repairs on a variety of vehicles
· Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently and accurately
· Complete vehicle scanning and communicate findings
· Conduct light welding and fabrication as needed
· Handle basic electrical work and wiring diagnostics
· Collaborate with other Renew departments (Refurb, Paint, Detail) to ensure smooth workflow
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
· Test drive vehicles to confirm quality of repair work
· Follow all safety and quality control standards
Requirements
· Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various vehicle systems
· Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve across multiple disciplines
· Experience with welding and light fabrication
· Familiarity with automotive electrical systems
· Ability to read, write, and document findings clearly
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
· Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
· Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt
· Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and remain on foot for up to 8 hours per day
Preferred Experience
· Prior work in a dealership, auto body, or mechanical shop environment
· Experience working with adaptive or custom vehicles a plus
Hours Monday - Thursday, 5am - 3:30pm
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
