Eden Vista Green Bay, a skilled nursing facility located in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a Scheduler to join our team.
Position: Part time Scheduler
We are looking for a Scheduler to undertake a variety of tasks such as recruitment, orientation, and placement of employees. The Scheduler is responsible for adequate staffing of the community, as well as is responsible for providing assistance to residents with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.
Essential Functions:
- Is on call for scheduling needs as scheduled/ assigned by the manager
- Returns calls from the scheduling phone within 1 hr of receipt
- Keeps scheduling phone with them at all times while on duty for scheduling
- Fills open shifts as needed
- Works the floor as needed to cover open shifts
- Communicate call-ins to the manager on the following business day
- Ensure adequate staffing for the community
- Assist as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
- Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
- Respect residents’ confidentiality.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Front desk Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position
- Experience in planning and execution of HR plans (onboarding, hiring, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (equal employment opportunity, relocation, laws, visa procedures, etc.)
- Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable with respect to confidentiality
- Valid certification (e.g. ASA credentials) is a plus
