Job Summary: The Senior People Partner – Engagement & Associate Experience is a high-impact People & Culture partner responsible for enhancing associate engagement, strengthening culture, supporting leaders, managing employee relations matters, conducting associate-level investigations, and driving action plans that improve retention, morale, accountability, and organizational performance. This role is hands-on, visible, and service-oriented—partnering across departments to ensure associates experience a workplace aligned with VNATC’s mission and iCARE values.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities: The individual must be able to perform the essential job duties and responsibilities to be effective. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Engagement & Culture
- Lead associate engagement strategies, surveys, pulse checks, and action planning.
- Analyze feedback trends and partner with leaders on improvement plans.
- Drive recognition programs and culture initiatives.
- Support retention strategies across departments.
Leader Partnership
- Coach managers on communication, accountability, performance management, and engagement.
- Support difficult conversations, coaching plans, and team effectiveness.
- Provide practical HR guidance to operational leaders.
Employee Relations
- Conduct associate-level investigations involving policy, conduct, civility, attendance, and workplace concerns.
- Ensure fair, timely, and consistent resolution practices.
- Recommend corrective action and risk mitigation strategies.
Associate Experience
- Improve onboarding experience and early retention.
- Monitor morale indicators, turnover trends, and culture hot spots.
- Serve as approachable trusted partner to associates and leaders.
Analytics / Reporting
- Track turnover, engagement, case trends, and action plan completion.
- Prepare monthly dashboards and executive summaries.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR preferred.
- 7+ years HRBP, ER, culture, or employee engagement experience.
- Strong investigation and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated manager coaching capability.
- Healthcare or multi-site workforce experience preferred.
- Strong emotional intelligence, presence, and judgment.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
