Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, highly alert, and dependable Security Officer to join our nightclub security team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, employees, and management while protecting the property and enforcing established safety and security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the nightclub and surrounding areas.
- Monitor entrances, exits, guest areas, and restricted areas to identify and address potential security concerns.
- Verify identification and manage access in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Monitor guest activity and respond professionally to disturbances, conflicts, and safety concerns.
- Use effective communication and de-escalation techniques to resolve situations calmly and professionally.
- Assist with crowd management and maintain orderly operations during high-volume periods.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, and emergency personnel when necessary.
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports when required.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent judgment at all times.
- Follow all company security policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous security, hospitality, nightclub, or customer service experience preferred.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Strong situational awareness and sound judgment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during busy events.
- Must meet all applicable Florida security licensing requirements.
