In this role, you’ll work closely with nurses and medical staff to provide hands-on care and support to patients, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and respected every day.

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

Support patients during mealtimes, including feeding assistance when needed

Take and record vital signs, weights, and other important health information

Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team

Help reposition patients and provide preventative skin care

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients

Accurately document care provided in clinical records

Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests

Work closely with nurses and team members to deliver high-quality care

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the Virginia Department of Health Professions

A caring, patient-focused attitude and strong work ethic

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow instructions and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
3. Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, working and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Must be able to move 150 pounds with assistance.
