Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop strong partnership with General Managers and site leadership to understand their business needs, goals and provide people guidance

Provide day to day support to people including benefits, ADP access, policies and compliance
-
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on complex people matters
-
Proactively analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop proactive solutions
-
Collaborate with the People Group to develop and implement initiatives and programs that support company and department initiatives, drive people engagement and increase retention
-
Continuous education regarding best practices and legal requirements to ensure compliance
-
Serve as an advocate for people, ensuring their concerns and feedback are heard and addressed
-
Lead, participate in and partner on company and site initiatives to drive change, streamline processes and continue building on our people first mindset
-
Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise

Regular and reliable attendance

Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time at desk in traditional office environment

Ability to travel up to 25% to remote facilities

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field or equivalent experience
-
5+ years of progressive experience within HR
-
Benefits Administration/Open enrollment facilitation
-
Familiarity with LOA, DOL, FLSA, FMLA, and other local and federal guidelines
-
Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to details
-
Experience in multiple manufacturing locations
-
Highly organized and able to drive projects independently
-
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
-
Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of HR procedures and policies
-
Comfort learning new technologies
-
Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
Preferred Qualifications:

SHRM (CP/SCP) or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) certification

Experience in a Union environment

HRIS implementation experience

Ability to collaborate and influence a team

Developing and delivering training

Analytic, strategic, and critical thinking skills
