Experienced Dog Bather – High-Volume and Growing Grooming Salon
Darlin’ Doggies Grooming Salon is looking for an experienced Dog Bather to join our busy, fast-paced team! Please do not apply if you do not have 1+ experience bathing. We are looking for someone that can hit the ground running. (Bathing your own dogs at home does not count).
We are a high-volume grooming salon, so we are specifically looking for someone who already has professional bathing experience and is comfortable working efficiently while still providing excellent care to every dog.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional dog bathing experience
- Experience working in a high-volume grooming salon
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
- Experience bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail trimming & drimmeling, and basic prep work
- Able to safely use professional dryers and bathing equipment
- Able to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality or safety
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable being on your feet and performing a physically demanding job
- Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs

We need someone who can come in with experience and hit the ground running. Our ideal candidate understands the pace of a busy grooming salon, takes pride in their work, helps keep the bathing and grooming areas clean and organized, and is willing to jump in wherever the team needs help.
We have a fun, busy environment and are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team mentality.
Experience is required. This is not an entry-level bathing position.
This job starts at $13 per hour plus tips which your total pay will be closer to $19-$20 per hour. If you have at least one year of professional dog bathing experience and are looking for a busy salon where you can become an important part of the team, we'd love to hear from you!
