Primary Responsibilities
- Travel to service locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and surrounding areas in a fully equipped company vehicle
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain:
- VRF/VRV systems
- PTAC units
- Water-source heat pumps (WSHP)
- Chillers
- Split systems
- Hydronic heating systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences
- Accurately identify parts, materials, and labor required for repairs
- Complete service documentation and work orders electronically
- Maintain a professional appearance and company image
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Keep assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Work independently while managing daily service schedules efficiently
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience
- EPA Certification
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing VRF systems and unitary equipment
- Knowledge of electrical controls, wiring, and refrigeration systems
- Experience with Mitsubishi, Daikin, LG, Fujitsu, PTACs, chillers, and split systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Computer and smartphone proficiency
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
Preferred
- Experience working in high-end residential environments
- Familiarity with hydronic systems and advanced controls
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions
