(Caregivers with OPEN Availability and/or Every Other Weekend Availability Preferred)
```The duties of this "INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR" Home Care position may include but aren't limited to:```
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including meal prep, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitoring and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Offering emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Following established care plans and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
-Transportation
-Ambulation
-Companionship and Overall Supervision
```Qualifications:```
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or a Florida Certified Nursing Assistant.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a Level 2 background screening
-CPR Certification.
-HIV Training Certification.
-Recent TB Screening completed within last 6 months
-Personal Liability Insurance
- Completion of a certified home health aide training program.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in patient assessment and providing patient service in home care setting, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc..
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical office procedures.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and dementia care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
