Overview:
Position is responsible for increasing current account volume, prospecting and maintaining new accounts; must be able to demonstrate excellent selling, negotiation, communication and problem solving skills in a fast-paced business environment. A combination of account development and account management skills are required for this position. 3+ years sales, ideally in the janitorial industry with a BA or BS degree in business management preferred. Position requires routine travel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client relationships to drive sales opportunities and meet monthly quotas within assigned territory.
- Respond to inquiries and conduct market research on prospective and existing clients.
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and RFP/RFQ/RFI responses.
- Support business development through lead research and distribution.
- Report directly to the President.
- Compensation based on individual performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field with 3+ years of sales experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; proven customer service and closing abilities.
- Familiarity with the sales process for services/products and government procurement (FAR).
- Ability to meet professional goals, with a flexible and creative approach to sales, telemarketing, cold calling, and networking.
- Report directly to the President.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet applications.
