About the Role
As a Thermal Processing Technician, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by managing heat-treating processes to ensure metal components meet rigorous hardness and durability standards. You will utilize your technical expertise to operate advanced furnace equipment and perform quality inspections, directly impacting the integrity and performance of our finished products.
Responsibilities-
Configure and operate industrial heat-treating furnaces, induction machines, and vacuum equipment to harden, anneal, or temper steel components.

Execute precise equipment setups using hand and power tools to maintain production flow and meet dimensional specifications.

Conduct thorough quality assessments, including hardness testing, visual inspections, and SPC tracking to ensure product compliance.

Monitor furnace performance and operational sequences, troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Manage the loading and unloading of materials while adhering to strict safety and environmental protocols.

Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation to support traceability and process improvement.

Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and material handling equipment to ensure operational reliability.

Uphold a clean and organized workspace by following 6S methodologies and safety standards.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs consistently.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Capability to interpret blueprints and utilize precision measurement gauges.

Commitment to wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines.

Prior experience with heat-treating processes or metallurgical equipment.
