Full-Time Pay: $4000-$6000 per month (salary + bonuses)
Join our growing team as a Diesel & Propane Bus Technician, maintaining and repairing Blue Bird school buses powered by Cummins diesel/electric and ROUSH CleanTech propane fuel systems. We are looking for a dependable technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping customers and kids safely on the road.
Tillery Bus Sales is New Mexico's premier Blue Bird school bus dealership, providing sales, service, and parts support to school districts throughout the state. We service advanced diesel and propane-powered buses using the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer training.

What You’ll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel, propane, and electric buses.
Diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, suspension, steering, brake systems, etc.
Troubleshoot aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR, EGR).
Diagnose propane fuel systems and ignition components.
Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer procedures.
Utilize OEM diagnostic software.
Complete repair orders accurately, timely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.

What You Need:
5+ years of experience working on heavy-duty buses, trucks, or diesel equipment
Technical certification or relevant training (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with Cummins engines
Electrical diagnostic experience.
Air brake certification or experience.
Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain one).
ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications are a plus.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
