Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead the sales floor in our Shallotte, NC location. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing a jewelry sales floor for an independent jeweler in the United States, with strong KPI knowledge and the leadership ability to consistently drive sales growth.
This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a luxury retail environment, excels at coaching and accountability, and can elevate both individual and team performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Floor Leadership
- Oversee daily sales floor operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Lead the team to meet and exceed sales goals and established KPIs
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, brand presentation, and service
Performance Analysis & Strategy
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including:
- Average Ticket
- Items per Sale
- Sales Per Hour
- Conversion Rate
- Inventory Turnover
- Identify trends and areas of opportunity and implement strategic action plans
Sales Training & Development
- Conduct weekly sales training sessions focused on product knowledge, selling skills, and client experience
- Provide one-on-one coaching, evaluations, and continuous development
- Develop confident, knowledgeable, and performance-driven sales professionals
Performance Improvement
- Implement and manage structured Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
- Deliver clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to support individual growth
Team Leadership & Culture
- Motivate, inspire, and lead the team by example
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable sales culture
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a multi-million-dollar jewelry sales floor for an independent jeweler in the U.S.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs and experience driving measurable sales growth
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience conducting sales training and performance evaluations
- Comfortable delivering constructive feedback and managing performance improvement
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $70,000–$85,000
- Performance bonus potential up to $30,000 annually
