Overview
Champlain Cable Co (CCC) is looking for Machine Operators to operate production lines in accordance with work instructions to produce quality products made within established specifications. In this position you will operate machines for the wire and cable process to meet customer specifications, as well as, maintaining 5s and working in a safe manner while producing high quality product.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience
- Basic math skills, to include fractions and decimals
- Micrometer/caliper experience preferred
- Effective communication, includes speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction
- Ability to pass an initial drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Required Personal Protective Equipment is provided and required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, 12 hours per day. Night shift: 6p-6a. Overtime scheduled as required.
Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
