Pay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Part-time | Wednesday–Friday
Work Locations: Multiple sites across Southeast Michigan
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable, detail-focused Model Home Cleaning Associate to help maintain fully completed and furnished model homes and on-site offices. These homes are used for client tours and builder operations, so cleanliness and presentation are critical.
This role requires travel between various developments. Candidates must provide their own reliable personal transportation to travel independently between job sites. This position is well-suited for someone who works well independently, values consistency, and enjoys a changing daily work environment.
Primary Duties
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of finished model homes
- Dust surfaces such as countertops, cabinetry, shelving, furniture, décor, and light fixtures
- Vacuum carpets and clean hard flooring (wood, laminate, tile)
- Clean kitchens and bathrooms, including fixtures, appliances, tubs, showers, and toilets
- Clean interior glass, mirrors, and windows
- Remove trash and keep garages and office areas tidy
- Ensure site offices located within model homes remain presentable
- Lock and secure homes when work is completed, following site instructions
- Pick up cleaning supplies or equipment from the Brighton office as needed
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with current insurance
- Personal Transportation, must possess a reliable personal vehicle to drive to and between job sites daily.
- Ability to travel to job sites including but not limited to Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Ypsilanti, Novi, Northville, South Lyon, Farmington, and Fenton
- Willingness to work at changing locations as developments open and close
- Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stair climbing
- Familiarity with basic cleaning tools and supplies (equipment provided)
- Dependable, punctual, and respectful of client property and staged environments

Preferred Background
