Lead Electronic Security Technician

Versa Link Solutions is a growing commercial security systems integrator expanding into South Carolina, and we're looking for an experienced Lead Electronic Security Technician to help build our Charleston-area operations.
This is more than another technician position. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to help build a team known for professionalism, quality, and integrity.
As one of our first South Carolina field employees, you'll play a key role in establishing our reputation with customers while helping train and develop future technicians.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial security system installations from start to finish.
- Install, troubleshoot, and commission:
- Electronic Access Control Systems
- IP Video Surveillance (CCTV)
- Intrusion Alarm Systems
- Structured Cabling
- Fiber Optic Cabling (preferred)
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction documents.
- Lead small installation crews and provide technical guidance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
- Perform system testing, programming, commissioning, and customer demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers and customers to ensure successful project completion.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial low-voltage or electronic security experience.
- Strong experience with commercial access control and CCTV systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot independently.
- Experience leading installation crews.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders and lifts.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
