Experienced Optician
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Optician to join our Pearle Vision, West Ashley team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame and lens selection based on their prescription and lifestyle.
- Take accurate optical measurements.
- Adjust, fit, and repair eyewear.
- Verify prescription and process eyewear orders.
- Explain lens options, coatings, and products.
- Verify vision insurance benefits, and submit claims.
- Support the team in delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Optician is required,
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and optical measurements.
- Experience with vision insurance plans, authorization and submitting claims.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
