Position Summary:
The Generator Systems Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth in the Minnesota territory through new lead generation and relationship development. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships with electrical contractors, general contractors, engineering firms, and end users. The Specialist will act as a liaison between clients and the internal engineering team to ensure customer needs are clearly defined and fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and end users.
Follow up on inbound leads and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Input and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system (Bolt).
Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to ensure proper solution development.
Provide feedback from the field to assist in continuous improvement of sales processes and product offerings.
Qualifications:
3+ years of sales experience in a technical or construction-related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with generator systems or electrical/mechanical systems is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel within the Minnesota territory.
