Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other mechanical components using schematics and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with heavy equipment or automotive repair is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret OEM manuals for precise repairs.
- Experience with construction equipment servicing including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and power tools operation.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation combined with maintenance expertise to optimize machine performance.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or inspections.
- Familiarity with tire service procedures and automotive repair techniques related to diesel mechanics.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems on vehicles or machinery is a plus.

- Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and construction machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding and hand tools to support equipment repair and customization projects.
- Troubleshoot issues related to farm machinery, industrial equipment, HVAC systems on vehicles, suspension systems, and powertrain components.
- Perform tire service, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, and air brake system testing to maintain safety standards.
- Use electrical diagnostics tools for troubleshooting electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and follow safety protocols during all repair activities.
Pay: $24.94 - $30.04 per hour
