Position Summary: Responsible for generation of sales, management of sales pipe and development of customers in designated territory. Works closely with the Sr. Sales Engineer Sales and Sales & Marketing Director on proposals, bids/tenders and submittals.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management

Maintain constant contact, cultivate relationships and develop the reps in the assigned territory so they’re engaged with the company and effectively selling equipment

Support Reps by traveling to respective territories and meeting with project decision makers.

Develop and cultivate relationships with existing and new Engineers and End Users
-
Perform presentations developed by marketing and tailored for project specific audiences
-
Attend trade shows and rep training as required
Lead Management
-
Maintain lead and project files and follow up appropriately- minimal annually
-
Review and accurately interpret project plans and specifications (leads) for design and pricing accuracy

Correctly enter projects into customer relationship management (CRM) database and update (follow-up) with detailed notes on correspondence, design changes and contact information

Generate budget proposals, bid documents and manage bids through reps in respective territory

Accurately handoff awarded projects to Engineering with pertinent design and documentation requirements required

Track and maintain website leads and requests
Growth Management

Strong attention to ensuring that the respective territory sales pipe is filled with solid revenue opportunities

Acquire competitor and pricing feedback for jobs bid

Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing opportunities by maintaining optimal bid positions and improving bid positions where possible

Reintroduce our company to past customers for follow up

Assist in development of literature and sales presentations

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business

Knowledge of ERP software and AutoCAD
-
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to read and interpret blue-prints; analyze engineering drawings and specifications

Ability to work independently and productively with little supervision, but must also be able to work as part of the team

Business development experience selling into the wastewater industry is preferred
