Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable
- Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such OPENTABLE
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth seating arrangements and timely service flow
- Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations while maintaining proper phone etiquette
- Maintain organized waitlists and coordinate with the team to optimize seating capacity and guest flow
- Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness of the host station and adherence to hygiene protocols
- Manage multiple 3rd party platforms. Enter delivery and to-go orders to P.O.S.
Experience
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
- Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality principles
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as OPENTABLE
- Experience with food service operations, including POS systems and guest interaction techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and guest flow effectively
- Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations is a plus
