Duties
Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.
Support food handling and serving processes by setting tables to restaurant standards and helping with food delivery when needed.
Maintain high standards of sanitation by cleaning dishes, utensils, and workstations in accordance with food safety regulations.
Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or trash while practicing safe lifting techniques.
Ensure proper internal communication with team members to coordinate service flow seamlessly.
Assist in catering setups or special event support, contributing to a positive guest experience.
Support overall restaurant sanitation efforts by cleaning floors, surfaces, and storage areas regularly.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with restaurant operations including table setting, food safety protocols, and sanitation practices is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Experience working in busy kitchens or hotel settings enhances your ability to thrive in this role.
Knowledge of catering or food industry standards helps ensure smooth service delivery.
