Position Overview
Origen is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organized Part-Time Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence and help tell the story of our elevated Tulum-inspired dining experience. This role will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing day-to-day social media activity, and growing awareness of Origen's unique offerings, including coastal Mexican cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, rooftop experiences, private events, and special promotions. Origen is known for its fresh seafood, tacos, prime steaks, agave-based cocktails, rooftop atmosphere, and vibrant dining experience in downtown Dunedin. [origendunedin.com]

Schedule

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create and publish engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of food, cocktails, rooftop experiences, events, guests, and team members
- Develop Reels, Stories, short-form videos, and promotional graphics
- Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic that reflects Origen's upscale yet energetic brand
Social Media Management
- Plan and manage a monthly content calendar
- Schedule and publish posts across social media channels
- Monitor comments, messages, and reviews and respond in a timely, professional manner
- Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and local market opportunities
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Promote special events, rooftop experiences, chef features, seasonal menus, happy hour offerings, and private event opportunities
- Collaborate with restaurant leadership on marketing campaigns and promotions
- Build relationships with local influencers, community organizations, and media partners
- Identify opportunities to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and campaign effectiveness
- Provide monthly reports and recommendations for improvement
- Use data-driven insights to optimize content strategy
Qualifications
- 1+ years of social media management, content creation, or digital marketing experience
- Experience working with restaurants, hospitality brands, food & beverage concepts, or lifestyle brands preferred
- Strong photography and videography skills
- Proficiency with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and social media scheduling tools
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Creative eye for storytelling and visual branding
- Understanding of current social media trends and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running paid social media campaigns
- Basic graphic design skills
- Knowledge of local Tampa Bay and Dunedin markets
- Experience collaborating with influencers and content creators
