We’re looking for a highly organized and motivated Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Crystal Lake, IL. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales or business career who enjoys working behind the scenes to support client outreach, maintain organization, and help drive team success.
You’ll work closely with our Business Development and Sales teams to assist with lead generation efforts, manage outreach tracking, and ensure a smooth handoff of opportunities—playing a key role in helping convert prospects into long-term clients.
What You’ll Do
- Support the sales team with lead generation activities, including research and data gathering
- Assist with outbound outreach efforts via email, phone, and social platforms
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client and prospect information
- Help schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for the sales team
- Prepare and organize sales reports, tracking sheets, and follow-up lists
- Assist in qualifying incoming leads before escalation to senior sales staff
- Monitor and track outreach activity to ensure consistency and follow-through
- Stay up to date on company services to support accurate messaging
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in sales support, administrative, or customer-facing roles
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating professionally via email and phone
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Eagerness to learn and grow into a sales or business development career
