Service Advisor and Business Development Specialist
This is a hybrid role that combines administrative and estimating support with light technical work and customer-facing field sales efforts. Along with assisting in the shop and office, you will have the opportunity to visit local businesses, fleet accounts, and potential partners to introduce our services and help develop new sources of work.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, comfortable talking to customers, and motivated to help expand our presence in the RV and specialty vehicle market.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive, RV, marine, mechanical, or equipment repair
- Strong technical comprehension—able to understand vehicle systems, read diagrams, and gather repair details
- Prior office, service writer, estimating support, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with RVs, travel trailers, commercial vehicles, or medium-duty trucks is a plus
- Collision estimating experience or CCC One familiarity is a plus (not required)
- Ability to communicate professionally in person and over the phone
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Confidence to represent the company in field visits and relationship-building
- Ability to serve as a project support lead from start to finish
Key Responsibilities

Office & Estimating Support
- Assist with writing repair estimates for RVs and specialty vehicles
- Document damages, gather photos, and compile repair information
- Update repair orders and maintain accurate job files
- Support communication with customers, insurers, and internal teams
- Submit required documentation to insurance and warranty companies
- Help ensure smooth job flow and accurate documentation from start to finish
Technical & Shop Support
- Work with technicians to assess repair needs and capture labor/parts requirements
- Perform basic inspections and preliminary diagnostics
- Research parts, components, and technical diagrams
- Assist with parts ordering and vendor coordination
- Help with quality control checks and verify repairs match approved estimates
- Provide hands-on help in the shop when needed
Field Sales & Business Development
- Visit local businesses, fleet owners, RV parks, warranty companies, and service partners to promote our services
- Build relationships with potential referral partners and new accounts
- Help identify new sources of repair work in the DFW area
- Assist management with outreach campaigns, follow-ups, and tracking sales opportunities
- Represent the company professionally and maintain positive relationships in the community
Compensation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to work in both office and shop environments
- Ability to inspect vehicles, climb into RVs and commercial vehicles, and move throughout the production facility
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to safely move and stage vehicles throughout the facility when required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
