Job Summary
Kau is hiring multiple Dishwashers, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient restaurant environment. Your energetic and proactive approach will ensure that dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and restaurant are spotless and ready for service. This position supports management, culinary teams and enhances guest experiences through your dedication to cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep or plating support when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, counters, and storage spaces to uphold health standards.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing and setup assistance.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Follow all food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures consistently.
- Help with general cleaning duties across the kitchen, restrooms, and dining areas to uphold a hygienic environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm, timeliness, and team work are key!
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff.
- Experience with bussing tables or serving in hospitality settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with catering or banquet operations can be advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
