Experienced Business Analyst is responsible for the inception, creation, and maintenance of all Business Requirements documentation that accurately defines the customer business need and enables the technology team to create a quality solution.
Skills Required:
- Must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a business analyst in mature Information Technology organizations.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the broadcast media industry.
- Experience working with network television pricing & planning or traffic operations
- Strong experience with UML artifacts (writing / creating Use Cases and Activity Diagrams).
- Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with Business and Technology Partners.
- Create Business Process Maps to document current and future state processes.
- Create written and graphic documentation to capture Business and Functional Requirements, including Unified Modeling Language (UML) artifacts such as Use Cases and Activity Diagrams where necessary.
- Maintain Functional Requirements throughout entire project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain strong relationship with Business Partners.
- Work closely with Project Manager to manage any required changes in scope.
- Effectively communicate requirements with Technology team (Architecture, Development, QA, etc.).
- Ability to gather and document business requirements, follow standard practices for Requirements Gathering Process, and committed to ensure that systems delivered are of high quality and meet all customer requirements.
- Experienced in Business Process Mapping using Visio or similar tool.
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent analysis and communication skills.
