Medical Services of America is currently seek a Full-Time Help Desk Technician to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Lexington, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Receives and resolves complaints regarding hardware, software and/or services.
- Assists with in-house application related issues.
- Escalates issues to senior help desk team members per MSA issue escalation standards and troubleshooting techniques.
- Utilizes in-house Work Order system to record work performed and track issue resolutions.
- Understands PHI and HIPAA guidelines and works with all team members to ensure compliance. Reports any concerns or issues to the IT Security Team.
- Performs additional IT related duties as assigned by Helpdesk Manager.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- One to two years related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of personal computers and PC application and development software required.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate and organize projects among a broad spectrum of personnel, frequently under deadline pressure.
