Family Justice Center – Domestic Violence Safehouse Program
Location: Myrtle Beach / Conway/ Georgetown, SC
Status: Full-Time 9- 5
Salary range $50,000- $55,000 annually
Position Overview
The Safehouse Manager oversees the daily operations, safety, and coordination of the domestic violence Safehouse program. This role supervises residential staff, ensures trauma-informed, survivor-centered services, and maintains compliance with agency, state, and funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise Residential Advocates and support staff; develop and manage schedules for full coverage.
· Ensure safety, security, and emergency preparedness of the Safehouse.
· Oversee documentation, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
· Provide crisis intervention and support to residents and hotline clients.
· Coordinate services with internal teams and community partners.
· Manage shelter operations including inventory, supplies, and facility needs.
· Complete reports and maintain compliance with DSS and funding requirements.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in human services, Social Work, or related field required (master's preferred).
· 5+ years of experience in domestic violence, residential, or crisis services.
· Supervisory experience preferred.
· Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Work Requirements
· Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and crisis situations.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
