We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused team member to join our toy store & ice cream shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Hours will vary and can be flexible (we are happy to work around a school schedule, other job, family responsibilities, etc.), but we prefer at least 10 hours of weekly availability Wednesday-Sunday. Preference will be given to candidates who are in Indiana over holidays and summer.
Our summer hours are Wednesday-Thursday 10-5, Friday-Saturday 10-8:30, and Sunday 12-4. The schedule will change going into fall/winter. Consistent weekend availability is required for consideration. Starting wage is $10/hour plus tips.
Duties
- Politely help customers to provide outstanding service.
- Take orders, scoop ice cream, and create sodas.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to create appealing displays that attract customers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
