Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
- Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines.
- Transport various types of freight including Dry-Van Loads.
- Ensure proper documentation for each shipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for compliance with FMCSA regulations and truck loading/unloading procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving.
- 2 Year minimum requirement.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance with all trucking regulations while maintaining excellent customer service during deliveries.
Additional Pay
- 5,000$ sign on Bonus (paid over 12 months)
- Safety and Performance bonus every 90 days.
Pay: $2,200.00 per week
