What You’ll Do
As a Security Guard you will bring a background and knowledge of safeguarding products, best practices for surveillance, and an ability to handle situations with care and confidentiality. You will be responsible for ensuring employees follow correct procedures when entering or exiting the worksite for a shift as well as patrolling the premises to ensure the safety of our staff. Through a background in security and the ability to ensure employees are following our procedures, you will help to ensure the successful continuity of our expanding business.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure employees follow proper procedures when coming in for or leaving a shift.
- Survey company premises to ensure safety of employees.
- Follow proper procedures for noting incidents.
- Track cameras to ensure product is safeguarded and no suspicious activity ensues.
- Report any incidences of suspicious activity to proper management.
- Record any visitors or guests and ensure they log in/out.
- Contact authorities if a crime is committed or an emergency happens.
Job Requirements
- A valid NJ Security Officer Registration Act (SORA II) License.
- Previous law enforcement experience preferred.
- Computer literacy is ideal but not necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility regarding overtime.
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods of standing and walking

- Monday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Tuesday – Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
