Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young students. This role involves supporting lead teachers in implementing educational programs, engaging with students, and promoting their development in a nurturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily lesson plans that align with curriculum goals.
- Support the educational needs of students by providing individualized attention and guidance.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote positive relationships.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead teachers regarding classroom dynamics and individual student needs.
- Facilitate literacy education activities that enhance reading and writing skills among preschool-aged children.
- Participate in classroom management, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices, particularly in preschool environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage young learners effectively.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies to support reading readiness among toddlers.
- Understanding of childhood development milestones and the ability to apply this knowledge in the classroom.
- Previous experience in private school settings is a plus but not required.
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and learning.
