Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
We are specifically looking for someone with a passion for coffee and its entire process from growth to serving. We are a specialtly shop with an emphasis on the coffee experience. Knowladge of the entamology of coffee beans and the various flavor profiles as well as on bar skills such as latte art and crafting new and exciting drinks is a major plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, matcha, and other beverages
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any questions or concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista on bar is a must, various drinks and names, dialing in espresso, etc.
- Familiarity with POS systems from square is a plus
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
