Duties
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments, including classic, gel, acrylic, and specialty nail services.
- Apply nail enhancements such as nail extensions, gel overlays, and intricate nail art using color theory principles for stunning results.
- Conduct additional beauty services like body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail care products, retail items, or additional services to meet client needs.
- Upsell spa packages and retail products effectively through excellent communication skills and product knowledge.
- Stay current with industry trends in nail care, hair styling, and body treatments to offer innovative options to clients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a manicurist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and design.
- Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation protocols essential for delivering high-quality services.
- Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments such as dermabrasion, esthetic laser therapy, and hair extensions is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Ability to perform retail math for upselling opportunities while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Certification in cosmetology or related beauty fields required; additional certifications in barbering or esthetic treatments are advantageous.
