About the shop
DASH is an independent men's grooming shop in Plaza Midwood, Charlotte. Haircuts, beards, straight razor shaves, and now massage therapy and sauna. We built the place we'd actually want to work at: relaxed but respected, small team, real support. Not a franchise. Not a spa chain.
We just built out our massage program from the ground up. Dedicated treatment space, sauna on site, and service bundles that pair massage with grooming services. You'd be launching this with us, not inheriting someone else's book of problems.
What you'd be doing
- Massage services for a mostly male clientele — guys who sit at desks, lift, drive, and carry stress in their neck and shoulders
- Working alongside sauna sessions and bundled services (cut + massage, sauna + massage)
- Helping shape the program: your input on menu, protocols, and retail actually gets used
- Building a book with our support — we market, we book, we send clients your way
What we're offering

- Online booking, front desk support, and scheduling handled through Mangomint — you focus on the table

- A shop culture where stylists stay. We do quarterly reviews, growth plans, and actually invest in our people
What we need
- Current NC LMBT license in good standing
- Liability insurance (or willingness to get it before start)
- Comfortable working in a barbershop environment — music on, conversation happening, not a silent spa. The dedicated Spa Room has been sound proofed, however you may still hear light noises from the shop.
- Reliable, professional, easy to be around
New grads welcome — if you're finishing massage school and licensed soon, we'd still like to talk.
