Job Summary:
The Wire Cutter is responsible for efficiently and accurately fulfilling orders for wire cuts. This position will also provide support in the warehouse as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cutting wire in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assists in general warehouse duties as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including wire cutting machine, hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts when needed.
- Strong communication skills.
- Limited computer skills. Will be trained on company software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months of wire cutting experience preferred.
- Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Position requires hours of standing.
