We are seeking motivated and safety-conscious Class A or B CDL drivers to join our team operating a truck for 1-800-Pack-Rat. As a part-time driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and pick-up of portable storage containers while providing a positive customer experience at every stop. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety. ALL DRIVERS ARE HOME DAILY!!
We are looking for an evening weekday driver from 5:00p to 10:00p and a weekend driver on Saturdays from 8:00a to 6:00p throughout peak season (now through November) - may progress to full time opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
Safely operate a Class A or B vehicle
- Deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers
- Provide excellent customer service during every interaction
- Complete accurate paperwork and use a tablet/GPS for routing
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
- Adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment
What You Bring:
Valid Class A or B CDL
- Clean driving record
- Skilled at maneuvering large vehicles
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliability and punctuality
- 21+ years old (insurance requirement)
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
